The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxi
Douglas Adams esta com certeza na minha lista de coisas preferidas que descobri na Inglaterra. Lendo o primeiro volume de sua trilogia de quatro livros, encontrei frases dignas de quotes:
"For a few seconds Ford seemed to ignore him, and stared fixedly into the sky like a rabbit trying to get run over by a car".
"'Life,' said Marvin (um robo cheio de personalidade humana) dolefully, 'loathe it or ignore it, you can't like it'".
"Somewhere in the cosmos, he said, along with all the planets inhabited by humanoids, reptiloids, fishoids, walking treeoids and superintelligent shades of the color blue, ..."
"'Come', called the old man, 'come now or you will be late.'
'Late?' said Arthur. 'What for?'
'What's your name, human?'
'Dent, Arthur Dent,' said Arthur.
'Late, as in the late Dentarthurdent,' said the old man sternly."
